View Full Version : Where do you see... BT 10-11-2008, 05:08 AM Prices for your bread and butter morphs starting out next year? BryonsBoas 10-11-2008, 10:46 PM I've seen Hypo Boas going for as little as $75 , which I think is idiotic since a really nice normal can get $50 - 75 if not a $100. We're going to start grading our Hypos and will likely start them at $125 going up to $200 - 250 for the absolute best. I'd imagine the Bloods will range in the $3500 - 4250 area. With Hypo Bloods in the $6k - 8k range. Our stripes will likely start at $75 - 100 per every 10% of striping. Wildmorph Pythons 10-14-2008, 09:49 AM You know I was very pleased to see that prices are holding. There are a few tools out there that are pissing their pants cause their 500.00 year old spider isn't going to make them 10's of thousands of dollars. Those guys will get tired of it and fade away. Its the guys that know how to run a business and have a real passion for the animals that will weather the storms. People get all pissy cause pastels are still 150.00 for a male well you know what when I got mine I paid 800.00 and I wish they were still 800.00. With the basics getting more affordable I really thinks we are seeing the market level out. There are still a few animals that are going to take a dive but with all the combos and still high dollar stuff out there its still a sale's market. I expect to see Pastels hold, spiders hold, most stuff hold Larry 10-17-2008, 08:37 AM I think your lesser/butters are going to hold at a decent value females for sure. Female pastels and spiders are still very important animals to have in the collection so I see them holding pretty good as well. Of course you'll have some douche bags that can't stomach to sit on an animal for more than a week that are going to do their usual damage to the market.. SELL SELL SELL:SAMHAIN: :machinegun:The Market Gary Orner 10-17-2008, 10:21 AM I think we may e a level off. Cinnies took a hit this year. To many people worry about not moving them and drop them. I seen a person selling pairs of cinnies for 200 at a show. It made me think there was an issue you know. I think we maybe seeing a level off more then the past few years. Atleast I hope so lol constrictorkeeper 10-17-2008, 10:45 AM linger in the two-hundred range. later co-doms in the four-hudred range. gotta be worth your time. ck BryonsBoas 10-17-2008, 02:01 PM I know it ticked me off to see hypo boas priced at the same amount as a normal boa. The economy is what is and these people aren't thinking of the reprecussions of all the price slashing. Once its cut , thats it , its cut. There is no going back and saying , " Well the economy is better so we can kick the price up again." . Once done , its done. The people struggling or holding off until it gets better will be looking for those slashed prices after the economy stabilizes. |
