I used to offer Google Checkout as a way for customers to pay for their animals but got my account revoked because they were not allowing the sale of animals.

Well I got this bit of good news in the email today:

Hello Tosha,

In our continuing effort to make Google Checkout more useful to merchants
and buyers, we review our content policies on a regular basis.

I am pleased to advise you that we have revised our policy restricting the
sale of animals through Google Checkout. Google Checkout no longer
prohibits the sale of animals that are not endangered or whose sale is not
regulated by law.

As a result, you are now eligible to use Google Checkout to process
transactions for animals as permitted by the revised policy. Please
respond to this email and let us know if you would like your Google
Checkout merchant account reinstated.

I must say Google Checkout is much easier and cheaper than Paypal. Just an FYI For those of you that want to use something different.

FINALLY.

I dont think anyone realizes just how LONG ive been waiting for this!!! More than likely i will absolutely be using Google Checkout for everyone i sell to.

Paypal is good, but really.... i have so many problems with them ALL the time that it just is not worth the hassle. Plus, i just dont feel as safe using it with unknown people.

I've never used google checkout. Is it safer? How? It looks like the fees are exactly the same - 2.9% + .30 per transaction. I will probably add it as an option for customers that prefer it. Having a choice is always good!
