I've never really been that big of a fan of any lizards but when I saw Rick Staub had a couple of these on his table next to the one I was working at during the Sacramento show last month it was pretty hard to pass them up. Pretty cool that he caught original adults in Hawaii too. Take Care, Nick

Not at all. I'm still learning a bunch about them, but Rick had them on display in a big pickle jar. I kept them in that for the first few days after I brought them home. It kinda reminded me of carrying around stuff in a jar like that when I was a kid. :D I have them set up now in a 10 gallon tank with a 20w light on 1 end. I just mist them and throw them some bugs every day or 2 and they seem fine. They've almost doubled in size in the past month.

cool english accent ?

Thats funny because for the first few weeks when I would look into their cage, I would hear a little voice with that accent. I swear I wouldn't talk back to them in the same accent, that would be just weird;)
Really cute gecko. One of my favorites.

The gieco gecko is an Aussie :wamma: Don't those guys require some fruit to their diet? Maybe I'm confusing them with someone else. Very delicate looking.

Makes me miss my Phelsuma madagascariensis grandis... however mine were skittish and would rarely leave the confines of their bamboo tubes.
Freakin pretty geckos, and they don't need bugs either! I sold em when I got rid of all my leos two years ago.

Nice to see someone else here likes Phelsuma. Be careful, this genus is easily addictive. Started with one species 3 years or so ago...now nearing 2 dozen! Best of luck with 'em and if you need any pointers, don't be afraid to ask.
