You say that like the alternate would have done anything better... I am not defending Obama - but you have remember, he did not create the mess we are in - the one that are grandkids will suffer for.

Couldn't agree more, Tim. I have been consistent in my contempt for both parties. The only thing that worries me is that TPTB are using Obamas popularity to speed up and intensify their agenda. The person who made the video seems to be politically biased against Obama, but he does have a point that nobody in the MSM is holding him or CONgress accountable.

Many things are being pushed through right now that not even all Dems are comfortable with like giving 108 billion dollars to the International Monetary Fund to help bail out other countries and foreign banks. O snuck this little tid bit in with the military budget package because he felt CONgress wouldn't want to be seen denying the troops their funds, but he still had to do a lot of arm twisting and in the end he will get what he wants as the White House believes they have the votes to pass the budget through this week.

Now, to me I find it pretty offensive to use the military budget as a means to an end, although I am not naive enough to believe this is something new. So, while I agree with Tim that this wasn't a problem that Obama created, it is however an event that he is using to expand the power of the Executive branch with speed and aggresion that far surpasses even the much maligned W administration. I guess that is why I found the video to be clever?!!
