Artificial port built in 1965 for the steel mills which has been a topic of heated debates for years around here since it takes up another portion of the lake access and the steel mills have such a large portion of the lake front now....something like 30 feet deep and over 8000 feet of steel and stone break walls....cool to see international cargo ships picking up or dropping off at the steel mills or the federal port authority....

Love that sign on the back of that ship "Beware of propeller," that's too funny.... kinda like the warnings on hot coffee.... LOL

Great shots of it Jeff. looks like a good place to visit when in that area. i like the tug boats also lol they look like the ones i see running up and down the ohio river during the day and night.

Once the small mouth figured out how to eat the goby that were taking over the lake they started making a comeback...nice to see an invasive species going to good use.
