Somewhere around here I have the General care and maintenance book (Philipe De Vosjoli) circa the early 90s I think -- seems like my snakes were hitting about the 10 year mark when the ball books started coming out.

Tosha, I had that same book, and as stated somewhere else in here My oldest pair are seventeen. That's when I started keeping.

Thats pretty cool to see those older pics. I wish I would have gotten into balls in 1995.. Probably wouldn't make things any different today but it would have been cool to watch things evolve.

I remember my first wild caught ball. Back in the late 80s. I ended up having a rat as a pet. It would never eat that well.

I had a pet mouse, a pet rat and a pet gerbil. Every week I would try to feed my pets to my other pet the ball python.

I had all 4 pets a long, long time. :D

Awesome! Ya it's a good book... It's fun looking back at it and seeing how far we've come with the hobby but it's still a good piece of reading material! :D

I still have my dads original cell phones thats huge and the size of a brick somewhere. I love these old pictures and to see that you all still have snakes today. It's great to see such passion all this time.

I've been keeping ball pythons off and on since the 2nd grade.... my parents didn't really want to mess with snakes too much but got me the snake and setup from a local petstore back then and bought me the barkers
"ball python manual"... I think I read that book over 100x's in the first week I got it... Just couldn't get enough of it and I'll never forget seeing the pictures of the albino and pied ball pythons for the first time... I remember saying to myself one day.... one day.... lol :letsparty:

You know it just hit me that we met at the daytona show. You gave my nephew a sticker. I asked to take a picture with you guys but you were to busy.

Oh yea, the tick infrested good ole days... When i actually kept BP's... back in the late 80's early 90's I think ihave some pics of me with a mullet and a BP.... Hell that's the last time i owned one, back when gerbils were an alternate food source if they didn't eat...
