I once was given a 6 year old ball that was only 3 feet long. Once he started eating right he started growing right. They live longer, produce healthier litters, and will produce them longer then a Boa that's been brought up to size for breeding. I have an '06 Colombian that's only a tad larger, and she's the epitome of health. Nothing wrong with that animal. And I happen to know the person you got her from has some Boa's around 20 yrs old. You won't get them to that age feeding them the way most people do. It's all about longevity and quality of life.
