Alrighty, here we go.

Back in July 2007, Obama said that he would meet with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and other tyrants without preconditions.

Maybe in these two years he has learned that invading other countries is not the answer (look at Vietnam and Korea).

Again, why is the US responsible for what happens in other countries?

Let's be fair here, it's only been like, what, 2 weeks since the elections in Iran? Give them some time and wait to see how it develops before sending in troops.

And, thank God that Obama is making this decision.

Plus, Obama shows a continued distaste for missile defense when tyrants are aiming missiles at us and our friends.

Do we really want another pissing contest like the Cold War?

Later, Matt

 YEAH that's exactly what this is............. It's not like N. Korea is trying to move missiles capable of carrying a nuclear payload to the US and potentially selling them to TERRORISTS who WILL use them against us given the option is any different than a gigantic country like the USSR stockpiling nuclear weapons as their defense against us stockpiling nuclear weapons.

This is NOT going to be a cold war, North Korea is throwing it in our faces that they HAVE WMDs and WILL use them against us and little BO is sitting with one thumb up his ass and the other in his mouth just "waiting to see what is going to happen" BULLSHIT.

BT you must be felling political whats up with all the Obama threads?

The way I look at it is leave the politics to the politicians! We all can make assumptions but the fact is we are not informed, there are things going on behind the scenes that the public is not told. I dont see anything wrong with having decent discussion about whats going on in the Middle East, N.Korea or Obama's policies as long as they dont turn unpatriotic. As far as Michael Baron(media in general) report I dont pay it any mind, Ill just wait till I see what type of individual Obama is when he is near the end of his term when he finishes his job.

Huh? Who's said anything about the US making more nuclear weapons. Part of Big O's agenda is making sure that we dismantle our nukes. I'm talking about the other countries (North Korea, Pakistan, Iran) that now have the capability to produce nuclear weapons, the ability to launch missiles capable of hitting US territories and people with their finger on the trigger that are just friggin crazy enough to push it! Meanwhile our president sits back and talks about forming diplomatic relationships with the same terrorists who are hell-bent on destroying us.

Im extreme, I think anyone who is talking s*** about are commander and chief is unpatriotic, that's just me tho...you know. I look it like this he is the boss the person who represents the USA If we make him look bad then what does that say about us. In any respect there are people who talk and people who take action and its up to us to decide what side of the fence you land.

I don't really have a dog in this fight. I'm a libertarian so yeah...... There hasn't been a viable libertarian candidate running for president for a long time besides Ron Paul and even he was a little iffy. Granted the majority of candidates I've voted for have been GOP but that's just a matter of them being the lesser of two evils not because I gave a crap about them or their policies for the most part.

Pat you may want to educate yourself on Obamas economic policies, and then you will understand the concern. Have you even bothered to read some of the info I provided in the other thread, info that is meant to explain some of the economical technicalities to you. I am trying to get you to think and not to just accept what the mainstream media spews out. In fact I don't want you to just take my word for it, that is why I provide links for you to do your own research. You like to come across as some enlightened individual but you are still in the dark ages of partisain politics.

This is about the constitution and the very ideals that men and women have sacraficed their lives for in defense of this country. I think the least you can do is educate yourself a little more about the issues at hand so you can have a debate that goes beyond wether dems are better than repubs because as BT said they all suck and it is time for a new solution. Man up Patty Cakes, I want you tell me why you feel Obamas economic policies are constitutional and not a threat to capitalism. I don't think anyone should be placed on a level that makes them out of reach of being disagreed with. What does it say about us? Well, imo the president may be a political figure head representation of the USA, but it's the people who are the real face of any country. If we talk good or bad about the president then that shows there is still some decent form of democracy still being exercised by it's people.... freedom of speech.

People do indeed talk, they voice their opinion and I would venture to say they will take action at the next election.

Pat, since your so educated are you going to explain why you think Obamas plan is so great or are you going to just talk crap about the mythological "them"? The longer you refrain from an intellegent rebutle, the more it looks like you have nothing but regurgitated fluff to base your beliefs on. And Pat I admitted to voting for Obama, so you can't use that anti-O crap on me because I wanted him to succeed for the countrys sake. Turns out he is just another puppet, in bed with Wall Street and the Bankers. That wasn't an easy pill to swallow and it is not real fun admiting I was wrong about him but simply put "it is what it is".

Open your eyes Pat, the only one making you look "unedumakated" is yourself. Out of curiosity what flavor of Koolaid is your favorite....:lmao:.....relax...I'm just messin' with ya! But seriously if you have a valid reason to show that O is not like all the others I'd love to hear it, because you are very bold in support of Obama but fail to back up that support with facts. This isn't personal Pat, but I feel if you are going to stick your head into a political debate then please bring something tangible to the plate.

Oh...one more thing....left vs right.......dem vs rep....... is sooooooooooo 2008. They are all the same, and the sooner you realise that the sooner you will wake up and see things for what they really are and understand that we as a country have been perfectly divided by policies that don't really matter in day to day life.

Wasn't poking you with a stick - just stating that I thought about being able to talk about anyone really while not trying to say, "Hey, your wrong." Pat I am very real and I get my info from Denninger, Drudge report, Info Wars, and by doing reaserch on specific issues. I don't not trust the mainstream media that is owned by the very corporate conglomerates that own the the politicians, Obama included. There are very dedicated people out there that are trying to open the eyes of the masses but you have to be willing to go down the rabbit hole.

As far what will work and won't work, well with foriegn policy it is a crap shoot, but economics is nothing but math and laws. The math of economics is a certainty, the laws are to assure a free market system. Right now the O-team is at full steam ahead bending and breaking just about every free market law and manipulating the math as much as possible to make it look like there is progress.....green shoots! Guys like Karl Denninger, who also wished he never voted for Obama as well, are punching giant holes in the governments policies becuase Karl knows every angle of the market, finance, banking and economics. It is a lot to take in at times, but the stuff going on with the restructuring of our market systems will have long lasting affects and is much more relavent than hot button distraction issues like gay marrige, abortion, or even Sarah Palin.

Basically Pat you don't have to be a fly on the wall of the oval office to get informed, but you do have to put a lot of effort into it because there is a reason this stuff isn't on mainstream media and if it is, the MSM is days, even weeks behind on this stuff. For example, a recent story about 134 billion in U.S. bearer bonds were confiscated from two Japenese men in Italy on their way to the Swiss border. Karl Denninger using sources from outside the U.S. was following the story and the potential impact on the treasury markets for a full week and a half before our government aknowledged the incedent publicly. A couple days later Karl was invited on CNBC to talk about the issue and although Karl sees them as market pumpers he agreed only to get pre-empted by Turbo Tax Timmy Giethner. Two weeks after the incedent our gov declared the bonds forgeries and the MSM never really aknowledged the implications or questioned why two Japenese men with 134 billion in supposed forged bonds were released almost immediately. All this info was found without the help of the MSM, proving that it can be done.

For anyone curious about the mystery bonds here is a link. For perspective the amount of bonds these guys were holding would make them the 4th largest holder of U.S. debt.

Wasn't poking you with a stick - just stating that I thought about being able to talk about anyone really while not trying to say, "Hey, your wrong." Sometimes there can be a fine line between constructive or and just bashing.... of course there is always the individuals interpretation of what is and isn't bashing.

It's politics - bound to get hotter then hell sometimes....

That I can agree with.
