JChandler 11-14-2008, 06:33 PM Thanks, a fuji a600 6.3 mega pixels with just over 11k worth of pics logged on it now....a bit of an antique but it is still getting the job done some days....it is getting testy though, some days it is great other days I think it hates me (all the times I have dropped it, sent it through xray machines, got it wet could all add to it hating me).
As of right now I am off sunday so if that stays the same I am going to use my relaxing time to go look at some newer cameras to see what I like...time for the upgrade for sure.
FloridaHogs 11-14-2008, 07:47 PM Very nice corns there Jeff. Is that snow my Sunny's mama?
JChandler 11-14-2008, 08:16 PM Very nice corns there Jeff. Is that snow my Sunny's mama?
Yes ma'am, she is the mom...she produced so well 2 seasons ago at 400 grams I can't wait to see what she does this season at 1100....
FloridaHogs 11-14-2008, 08:33 PM I thought I saw the family resemblence. Sunny is already up to rat pups. She would eat more than one a week if I let her!

That particular mom eats like there is no tomorrow, funny I never had any issues with any babies from her...
FloridaHogs 11-14-2008, 08:45 PM Oh yeah, she is not one I feed by hand, that is for sure!
147BOAS 11-15-2008, 12:13 AM very nice pictures jeff
JChandler 11-15-2008, 07:25 AM Thanks Andrew!
Gator 11-15-2008, 02:44 PM Great corns...that's the 1st time I've ever heard of a hostile one, though. Is it just the anery's?
FloridaHogs 11-15-2008, 02:48 PM My anery's are both sweeties!!
JChandler 11-15-2008, 09:04 PM Great corns...that's the 1st time I've ever heard of a hostile one, though. Is it just the anery's?
No it is just my buddy's stock....normally good eaters so I think he sticks with some of the meaner ones to keep the babies feeding, of course this is just my personal line of thinking.
I have anery's that I produced that aren't bad at all, the adults I have can get testy but otherwise they aren't bad at all.
guyergenetics 11-21-2008, 01:42 PM You got a nice shot of that Pepper corn. I like the coloration.

If ya like the Fuji... Id say look at the S1000... its got real nice macro... It will actually focus a whole lot closer than my Nikon D80. Eventually I will prob get one as a backup... it is a Point and shoot though.

Thanks, that one is part of a 3-4 year project on my end...started from offspring from the snowflake corn from VMS...going to be getting F3 plus crossing my one and only boy back to the original moms this season just for kicks....I think the calico gene Sean was hoping to find isn't locked up in that one but I am willing to see what I can pull out of it.
Never got out last weekend but I am heading out tomorrow to look around so I will keep an eye out for that fuji to see what it has, thanks!
