Very cool Rubber Boas. How many do you have? I have two pairs and they seem to be very slow growing animals. Maybe in 5 years or so I can breed them. Have you bred them before?

Thanks, right now none of these are mine....I picked them up for a buddy at the Tinley show until his house was finished and they are just kind of hanging out...
There are 4 feeding babies and 3 that haven't eaten yet....along with the 1.2 adults. The adults are tiny little things to me, they have more room then what they know what to do with in the 15 qts they are housed in. They all feed on fuzzy mice to give you a size to go off of.
The adults are breeders and produced the babies which reminds me I need to look up burmating them here shortly with the corns since I don't think my buddies house is ever going to be finished....some elaborate master plan for me to take in some of his critters.
I am also going to have to scent some of the pinks for the 3 that haven't eaten yet with all my tricks...but they are not very fast growers and seem to not be the strongest feeders....way to docile for my taste, which in turn makes them creepy...:lmao:

These guys are very slow growers because of the climate they are accustomed to. They like it pretty cool... most suggest in the 60s to 70s. As for brumating them, I am pretty sure they need VERY cold temps to brumate. I have seen some accounts of these guys being found out and about at temps as low as 40 F. Awesome and interesting critters for sure!

Thanks Larry and Mike....
So far from these I can't get them to bite or get defensive at all....defiantly a different kind of snake...
