Little runt Albino male from my last 08 clutch...Just shed today and smashed a little mouse fuzzy like they were going out of style...Little guy weighed 32 grams full...:D

Yep - He's tiny...Poor little guy had his cord all wrapped around him - Still had half his yolk left in the egg...He's a eater though...:rockon:...Give him a month and you'd never know he was a runt...:D

A friend of my Steve has an albino female that SHOULD be an adult, and she is still really really small. She eats, just will not GROW! its pretty interesting!

Does this happen often with the albinos? ( runts, or animals that just dont grow, regardless of frequency of feedings and such?)

It's never happened to me...I hatched a twin (other twin was dead in the egg) this year that were a little bigger than this guy...She's almost as big as her clutch mate sisters that I kept...

LMAO.......Yep, girls! The smallest I have had hatch was around 13 grams I think. Was a axanthic and was feeding it mouse tails but it died in a few weeks despite my best efforts. Some of the runts I have had over the years are some of my biggest animals now...
