Well the grey rats all shed, and all but one ate a f/t overnight (some before they shed). Smart little buggers! So here are all but one of the post shed pics.

Thanks Tama! It was surprisingly easy to get them going. Just left thawed pinks overnight. I really was surprised they ate, because only three of them had shed when I did it....:dunno:

Congrats and that is how I start all the corns, then in a week I do it again with just leaving it overnight for the ones that didn't eat the first time...I don't try live for 3 weeks after first shed here...whatever works for them!

It looks like some vegetable? Like lettuce or bok choi, or some cooked asian vegetable???

What is going on?

Congrats Jenea! You will find most north american rats (corns included) will start off on ft. I never offer any of mine live unless they have gone three weeks post shed and still havent eaten.

That was a napkin. This one decided to rearange its tub and spill all of its water while shedding.
