I waited a good 10-15 min's watching this bird swim around this gator... Gator looked interested but was waiting to handout the ambush attack... Bird ended up just swimming away... Darn. lol

The guy I buy my rats from caught a baby gator in the canal behind his yard and has him in a large fish tank. He feeds him fish and pieces of chicken. He is nuts!

Thanks guys! Ya it's hard not to bring a camera anytime your outside here in FL.... I have yet to see any burms or other non indigenous wildlife but man... It's kinda hard to go anywhere and not see gators!

As to if they are nice or not... The answer is no! Most are afraid of you... however once they are fed once! That fear is gone and they will cruise right up to you like the one did that was really close up in those shots... That one particular gator actually swam up to us from probably 150yds away and then just kinda sat there as if to be waiting for a handout...

actually , you're better off being all the way in the water, a full grown man is too big a target for most gators ( if they can see all of you ). problem is when you got that coconut bobbin' on the surface, lookin' like a fat duck...
now that's interesting !

It's definitely badass! and no... I have not seen any burms yet... I usually go during the day... At night is when you catch the Burm's and other snakes...

Are they really that bad, I have heard both sides of this and I want to go with there not being that many out in the wild but since you're able to get some first hand sightings...I heard much the same about the nile monitors a few years back but haven't heard a word about them lately...
