Same response i recieved from them also from their office aide.

I got the same answer...but I asked if they were sticking to importation or not and I was told NO they were seeking a ban on the species! I let them know that Florida has a permitting system in place and that there was no evidence to even show they could survive out of the state....hope they stick to importing only!

I too got the same response from his office... A good friend that is very into birds, (parrots) sent a panicked E mail to me mid day, making sure that I was aware of the bill.... She said to let everyone know that it is hitting the bird and pet store lists, and that this effects everyone. They were blowing up the phones on the bird end too! :rebel:
